Per-container product
Sellexio Passport
One container. One flat fee. From the moment you book, satellites watch the leg and we compute the two numbers customs and your bank now ask for: the carbon carried by that box and the true landed cost of what is inside it. Forty-eight hours before the ship berths, you get a certified Customs & Carbon Slip to attach to your entry.
A Passport is issued only once the first payment clears. No monitoring, calculation or slip is produced before that.
How it works
Enter the container, vessel and lane the moment the booking is confirmed.
Payment clears, the record is sealed with a SHA-256 fingerprint of the booking facts.
AIS telemetry tracks the leg. Voyage carbon and landed cost are recomputed every sweep.
A certified Customs & Carbon Slip is issued before arrival — attach it to your entry.
What the slip contains
- • Voyage CO2 attributed to your box by slot share, using IMO DCS / EU MRV factors.
- • An indicative IMO carbon-intensity band for the leg.
- • Your CBAM position: whether the HS code is in scope, and embedded emissions at EU default values.
- • A landed-cost build-up — freight, bunker surcharge, terminal handling, duty, expected accessorials and CBAM certificate exposure.
- • A SHA-256 fingerprint of the booking facts, verifiable at a public URL by your broker or customer.
Which goods are in CBAM scope
CBAM covers a defined goods list, not every container. A Passport tells you plainly which side of the line your consignment sits on — and the carbon record still stands as evidence for customers, lenders and your own reporting when it is out of scope.
| Iron and steel | HS 72, 7301, 7302… | Crude-steel route drives the number; EAF product is materially lower than BF-BOF. |
| Aluminium | HS 76… | Smelter electricity mix dominates. Ask the mill for actual data before defaulting. |
| Cement and clinker | HS 2523, 2507, 2521… | Clinker factor is the single biggest lever on the declared figure. |
| Fertilisers | HS 31, 2808, 2814… | Ammonia feedstock (grey vs blue) changes this by more than half. |
| Hydrogen | HS 280410… | Grey hydrogen default. Certified low-carbon supply must be evidenced. |

Scope
Sellexio is a data and audit provider. A Passport is documentary evidence for your own customs entry — it is not a customs filing, not a guarantee of clearance, and does not replace your broker or declarant.
Auditing the charges behind those numbers is a separate service — see how the freight audit works.
